We invite you to support The Dolphins.
Approximately one half of the financial support for the Dolphins of Delaware Valley comes from individual donations. Other contributors include Foundations, churches, the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, service organizations, and corporations. The staff recruits, trains and places volunteers with the residents in need. The staff also provides support and needed materials for affiliates, responds to inquiries, makes presentations and organizes new programs as well as visiting residents in the 30 facilities we now serve all over the Delaware Valley.
To continue this work it does require professional administration as well as office supplies, printed material and postage expenses. As the program has grown, so has the need for contributions. We are asked daily if there would be a volunteer for a senior in need of friendship. We try to accommodate, but it has become a difficult task.
